Structural Team Insight

Read your team
before the symptoms.

Read where your people will grow.

A sociogram of the team you actually have: Species, Soil, and Flow composed into a health state, read months before any engagement survey, performance review, or dashboard catches the signal.

What it reads

Causes, not symptoms.

Engagement surveys lag the conditions they measure. Performance reviews look backwards. Productivity is gameable. The Sociographer reads the structure underneath: three layers, on the rhythm of months, not quarters.

Layer one

Species

Who the person is, structurally: paired species, modifiers, the graft they're holding. Always read in combination, never alone.

Apple · Pear · Lemon · Plum · Olive

Layer two

Soil

Where they're planted: role, team, nourishment, and the specific conditions their species actually needs to grow.

Layer three

Flow

How they're showing up right now: the sap flow of the structure, the early sign of sapping weeks before it lands anywhere else.

Read together, Species, Soil, and Flow do not stand apart from each other. They compose.

Individual Reading

On Anna · planted in shifting soil

Anna is a LemonOlive, what we name a Visionary Integrator. She holds the whole system in view, names what's missing before anyone else feels it, and translates between groups who think in different shapes. Her tempo is Deliberate: she reads the gap fast, then incubates before she commits. Once she's committed, she moves.

The soil she is currently planted in is not built for what her species needs. Three of five dimensions are reading Barren: Structure improvises week to week, Scope keeps widening past what any one person can hold, and Horizon is set in quarters when Anna reads in years.

This is what Sapping looks like before it lands in any dashboard. Engagement is still nominally green. Output is still nominally on. The energy economics underneath are running negative, and have been for roughly six weeks.

Read on for what the soil would need to become, and the conversation we'd recommend opening with her in the next two weeks…

Existing tools measure the WHO, not the WHAT and WHY. That's the gap.
